TAN : How have you seen yourself transformed and renewed since taking on the role of Rwandan genocide survivor Immaculée Ilibagiza?

I have a much better sense of the power of our minds. Her focus on God in the midst of a genocide inspires me all the time.

TAN :What do you draw your inspiration from and what has inspired you most?

I am inspired by this beautiful planet we live on, and all the wonderful people on it!

TAN : What does this role represent to you and how does it affect you when acting on stage?

I LOVE performing this show–she is an incredible person to play, and I always feel energized at the end of the show.

TAN : As a woman and a mother what nourishing message do you have for our society?

Our kids have inner guidance and they have so much to teach us about enjoying the moment, without worry.

TAN: What advice and encouragement do you think we need to give our youth today?

I think the world is in good hands. Life is good. Enjoy it! If I ever feel discouraged, all I need to do is remember that Barack Hussein Obama is now the president of the United States of America, and I get tears in my eyes for the glory of the goodness of this world.

TAN: We thank you for your time and the service you give to society, and wish you much continued success.
