Fun Bowling Night to Support Orphanage
Pin the date March 3rd on your calendar and come out to PoCo Bowl for an evening of games, snacks, prizes and fun while helping raise funds for Shiloh Place Orphanage in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Founder Chantal Kasongo lives in Coquitlam and appreciates the community volunteers who are helping organize and run this Funbowl evening. “Their interest and energy mean a lot to the children we care about in Africa.”
The evening includes 5-pin bowling, snacks, prizes, a no-host bar and more! People can bring a ready-made team of five bowlers or will be introduced to a team and new friends. PoCo Bowl, at 2263 McAllister Ave. In Port Coquitlam offers ample free parking. Tickets are $25 and include rental of bowling shoes. Doors open at 8:30PM, bowling begins at 9 and continues till midnight March 3rd.
Funbowl proceeds will provide furnishings and books for Shiloh Place’s recently completed community building/chapel. This building offers meeting space, worship, health education, etc. for the local community, and informal primary school classes for local children whose parents cannot afford school fees and other education costs.
