Racial Pluralism: Improving Afro-centric Responsibility

On July 1, 2007, we are celebrating 140 years of Canadian Confederation (1867). It is, therefore, an opportune time to discuss roles of Racially Visible Canadians of Black African Descent.
As African Canadians and African descendents of the first human settlements, we are the only ones who can name, own, and take charge of our God given destiny - to be strong, mighty, and never described as an extinct race. Yes, as individuals and in our separate communities, we are diverse in a multitude of ways - our birthplace, degrees of visible colour, language, knowledge, experiences, to name a few.
