Canadian-owned horses won three races at the prestigious Breeders' Cup Day on October 30th. Ghostzapper, owned by Frank Stronach, chair Magna Corporation, romped to a 3 length victory in the $4 million Breeders' Cup. Wilko, 75% owned by J. Paul Reddam of Windsor, Ontario won the $1.5 million Juvenile in a huge upset and Speightown, owned by Eugene Melynk who also owns the NHL's Ottawa Senators won the $1 million sprint.
